He is risen...He is risen indeed!!
Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.
I once again have not updated for a while.
Things have been quite difficult. We have had some events that have really turned our lives upside-down.
Eric lost his job about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I won't go into details, but let's just say the reason was ridiculous. We have appealed it and are waiting to hear back from them.
Eric is also having some medical problems. We have been seeing a lung specialist in Zanesville. He has had numerous tests, including an endoscopy, PET-scan, and last week a lung biopsy. The PET-scan is a test that an IV gives you a radioactive dye, which puts a sugar-glucose through your body. You then go into a machine that takes pictures of your body. They detect "hot spots or cold spots" throughout the body. Your lungs should be "cold". His showed "hot", as well as the lymphnodes in his chest and stomach. We were so shocked! We then were scheduled to have a lung biopsy done, which we had done last Thursday. They went in through his back with a needle and took six biopsies of the lower left lung. We are waiting to hear from the dr. for the results. The pulmonologist is in the process of reading and determining what it could be. It could be a number of things. The dr. seemed to be very suprised that the spots showed "hot". Eric is not a smoker, he is very healthy and only 37. The waiting is driving us crazy. I called yesterday to see if they had any news and the nurse said they had some prelimonary results, but were waiting on the cytology report. In just about a 4 week time, this is what we have been dealing with. Please keep us in your prayers and I will let you know when we hear anything.
Thank God for our baby boy!! Jackson keeps us smiling and if not for him, I don't know what state I would be in. Eric is ok. I think he is more nervous than he lets on. Probably for my sake, he remains calm.
We have had wonderful support from our family and friends. Our parents have been helping out and we appreciate that so much. We truly are blessed to have such wonderful parents who care and love us. Thank you to Debbie & Rex Snyder, Mary & Bob Knicely, Patty & Ken Cramer, Jenny & Lee Landon, Janelle Given and that is just a few of the many people that are supporting us. One thing about living in a small town, that is what it's all about. In time of need, people come out and do whatever they can. THANK YOU!!!
